How strange that you should pop up here - I live in Lancashire and a member of the Children with Disabilities Working Group (my son has Aspergys and Moderate Autism, which is how I became involved) I already know about the petition you mention and have already put my name to it.

Unfortunately, these Councils are very short sighted and unable to see the bigger picture - they like us to all fall into neat little categories and as parents we don't intend to let them get away with it.

I am so pleased that your little girl is doing so well, let's hope that some good comes out of this for you and the many others who come up against the red tape.
