Re: GOOD MORNING ALL
Good Luck Enya!!!
I was off work for a year then I went back on a phased return which lasted a week the first time and the second a month. The stress of wanting to go back coupled with the fact that I was no longer able to do it full-time ascerbated the situation. In the end I was offered a Career Break through my local government employers and that is how it stands to date. Surely Occupational Health would be able to advise or even the Citizens Advice either way you need to find out where you stand, I know you mentioned previously about reducing your hours and I would seriously consider this as an option. You can also supplement your income with Working Tax Credit (Income Support is being phased out in October this year). Its hard when you've been self sufficient and not had to rely on income from elsewhere, and a fear of losing that feeling of self worth, but there is help out there just don't struggle on for too long as you will suffer for it and get no better thought of in the process. A reduction in hours will at least allow you the opportunity to put more balance into your life and focus on what matters most. Stress and Fibro are a bad combination.
Having been in this situation myself I feel quite well versed in the pros and cons and If I can help in any way just let me know (you have my phone number use it anytime!!!)
All the best,
Love and Hugs

Re: GOOD MORNING ALL
I am trying my best Enya.
I just wish I could do more to help, its such a frustrating condition in so many ways, and so little help out there.
You'll never be alone here - we'll love and support you every step of the way.
I'm going to start an "On-line Support and Counselling Group" - when you're diagnosed and for a while after its such a struggle to try and maintain some semblance of normality and I think those of us who take this forum seriously have a lot to offer fellow sufferers.
xx

Good Morning Everyone
Its wet and miserable here today - a bit like how I'm feeling.
Off to the hospital later so wish me luck - I know its growing I can feel the pressure everytime I sit or lie down.
Wish me luck anyway ...

Re: GOOD MORNING ALL
I hope everything goes OK for you at the hospital today Jo.
I am not doing much today apart from having my hair cut. Have already been out with the dog. But that's about it.
